Sunnymeade Campus

This congregation started in 1977 and is made up of people of all ages who mainly come from the suburbs of Flagstaff Hill, Aberfoyle Park, and the eastern parts of Happy Valley. The congregation is strongly evangelical (committed to the Bible and to sharing the Good News of Jesus) and designed to meet the needs of this community.

We have over 1000 people attending worship each week (two Sunday morning services, a Saturday night service and Friday night youth worship). The Saturday night and two Sunday morning services are designed to be enjoyable, positive and relevant to life. The music is mostly contemporary, led by a worship band, and the message applies God's Word to everyday life. Besides music, we use various art-forms to explain and respond to Biblical truth because we recognize that God can and does use many different means to speak to peopleís hearts. Drama, video and other visual media are all used as often as possible

Our services are designed to be places of welcome but above all, encounters with the living God. Our worship services are full of celebration, inspiration and encouragement for living life to the full during the week. Our services are designed to be practical and applicable to anyone who may come, no matter where they may be along their life journey or their relationship with God.

Children are well-catered for at the Sunnymeade Campus. Every week, there are comprehensive programs for children of every age from babies (Totzone) to Year 7 (Priority One at the 10:45am service) which include worship, input, fun activities and community time. All children remain in the main worship service for about the first 20 minutes, and are then eager to leave for their various activities.

The Sunnymeade Campus is a busy place! The Church Office is open every weekday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and before and after services at the weekends; there are playgroups (Playzone) Monday to Thursday mornings when the place is alive with the sound of happy toddlers and their parents; the UCount Support Services Office sees a significant number of people each week. We hope and pray that all of these activities will lead people to faith in Jesus Christ and help them to take new steps of discipleship.
