Dear friends,

We believe that God has called us to be fully committed to bringing people to Jesus,
transforming them into his passionate disciples. We want to:
• help others discover the love of Christ
• give our children the greatest opportunity to follow Jesus
• build bridges to the community, providing help and hope to the disadvantaged

God has placed in your heart and hands certain abilities, skills and talents for the intent
purpose of reaching others with the good news of Jesus Christ. These skills and spiritual gifts
vary from one person to the next, and that’s what makes Church so exciting. Aberfoyle isn’t a
building, but a group of extraordinary people from a variety of ages, backgrounds and
experiences, who believe in the power of God and serve with a common purpose.

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to
peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and
admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit,
singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed,
do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
