2010 giving

If you would like to commit towards financial giving @ aberfoyle please fill out our ON-LINE FORM

Dear friends

We know that God has called us to be fully committed to bringing people to Jesus, transforming them into his passionate disciples. We want to:

  • help others discover the love of Christ

  • give our children the greatest opportunity to follow Jesus

  • build bridges to the community, providing help and hope to the disadvantaged

We are inviting you to respond by:

1. Committing to regular giving
to support the work of God through our Church during the year (can be paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly, electronically or by cash or cheque).

2. Make a special ‘one off’ cash gift

3. Give an extra weekly gift
above and beyond your normal offerings.

* If you attend our Sunnymeade campus, your extra weekly gift goes to ‘Building on the Dream’, the development of our community outreach at  fiftysix as well as building developments at our main facility including the building of a dedicated children’s space

* If you attend our Seaford campus, your extra weekly gift goes to the ‘2nd Mile’ project, the coordination of children’s and youth ministry

I hope and pray you’ll prayerfully consider your financial commitment to God.

Simply mail or drop off your response form in a sealed envelope or drop off your envelope to the church office or fill out the financial giving form ON-LINE FORM

Our vision and prayer is that you will make a valuable investment in the life-transforming ministry of Christ and leave a lasting legacy for eternity.

10 Vision

Had your eyes checked lately?

Eyesight can become so easily blurred over time. You hardly notice the change. Before you know it, you need glasses.

So it is with vision. Over time, vision blurs.

Right now, we’re facing a financial challenge. We can panic, tremble with fear, apportion blame or sink into despondency. Our best response is to bring our vision back into focus and then do what we can to see that it is fulfilled.

Good vision is 20-20 vision. When I realised that I could only see the newspaper headlines, I got glasses and now my vision is 20-20.

We need, not just 20-20 vision, but 20-10 vision. 20-10 vision is sharper even than 20-20.

Each of you must make up your own mind about how much to give. But don't feel sorry that you must

give and don't feel that you are forced to give. God loves people who love to give.   2 Corinthians 9:7
