XS is the youth ministry of Aberfoyle Uniting Church which is run for high school aged young people.


We meet on Friday nights at 7:30pm in time for a 7:45 kick-off, and then run through til 10pm. Our nights have a similar format each week, but as no two nights are ever the same, you never know quite what to expect.


We get a chance to worship together with the XS band. During this time we do our best to help you connect with God which includes a message that more really hits the mark in terms of the stuff that matters to you and the world in which you find yourself.


We finish up the night at XS cafe, and are working on making it the best value for money meal and great place to kickback after a solid week.


Xcite is an emerging community within the XS community and is geared up especially for those in years 8 and 9 at high school. At this stage, Xcite will be run at 6:30 on Friday nights and run through til 7:30pm. You are more than welcome then to morph into XS at 7:45pm. The choice is yours.


XS is not just gathering that happens on Friday nights but is also a whole stack of smaller groups known as ... wait for it ... small groups. This gives you a chance to do what most of our world would love to do. Hang out with a group of people who accept me for me, and with whom I can be honest with and listen and be listened to. It may seem a little risky to start with, but these places can without a doubt become one of the most significant parts of your life.
